How to Sell to People Who Didn't Get Results from Coaching Before

Do you want more people to buy your coaching?

Then you need to help them overcome the fears they may have around working with you.

One of the most common fears/objections I hear is:

“I already paid for coaching, but I didn’t get the results they promised. I’m worried that I’ll pay a lot of money but not get results, AGAIN.”

So if you want to make more sales, AND avoid being the reason someone became discouraged and scared to hire another coach, then you need to do 3 things:

1. Set realistic expectations.

Make sure your clients know exactly what they’ll learn, roughly how much time and effort it will take to implement it, and what results they can expect if they fully implement it.

You don’t have to teach them everything you know. Indeed, you SHOULDN'T, because that would result in them spending time and money on things that aren't what they signed up for.

But you MUST teach them everything THEY need to know to get the result you're promising them.

2. Make sure they know what they’re getting AND what else they need.

If your offer focuses on one piece of the puzzle, tell them what other pieces they also need to get results.

For example, if you teach them how to build their email list, make sure they know what ELSE they need to do to get clients.

It’s fine if you only teach one piece of the puzzle. That might be the only missing piece that’s standing between them and success.

But don’t let them think that one piece is the WHOLE puzzle.

And if you share the other pieces in your other offers, be sure to let them know!

3. Tell them why you’re different from the coaches who didn’t get results.

What do you teach that these other coaches don’t?

What problems or obstacles do you address that they don’t?

How do you get results for people who didn’t get results from other methods?

How can you help people who don't have the resources or abilities that are required to fully implement other coaching programs?

If you can help people see WHY the other solutions they tried didn't work, and how yours is different, they'll feel more confident about working with you.
